Question: my coworker/ good friend of mine, who im presently taking care of, has the flu and has a fever of 103F. he told me not to give him any medicine because he said the fever is supposed to help. what should i do? i know that he's right, but he's so damn stubborn and im almost ready to choke him with Tylenol. any suggestions/advice to help him get better or change his mind about taking medicine?

he's not doing the smart thing by refusing meds, but he is an adult and it's his right to take/not take whatever meds he wants. if his fever gets to 105 or higher, however, he needs to take some kind of medicines or get to see a doctor or he could suffer from brain damage

actually that high of a fever is not good. i think dont quote me but i think your brain starts frying at 104-105 he needs to take the meds or make him go to the dr it might not even be the flu!

Simple question to him: the medicine or a funeral.

But, I think while Tylenol may help the symptoms, it's not a cure. He should see a doctor.

well i had it and dr told me to take tylenol for the fever.. it did help it.. fever is not to help a person .. fever means your very sick..he needs lots of water and needs to see a dr.

time to get away from the adult who is capable of taking care of himself. wash your hands well.

Are you in Scientology? DOCTOR!

It is his right not to take meds
