After starting treatment for scabies, only time will tell if all the scabies were killed with the initial treatment. Usually, the initial treatment does clear up all of the scabies, however it is normal to itch for several weeks after treament. The bumps will usually clear up within a week ... there is inflamation in the skin from the infestation and your tissue will need time to heal itself. If your doctor told you that you only needed to use the cream one night, then that should be good enough, however if you feel the need to use it tonight too, it won't harm you.

The cream they prescribed for you needs to be used as directed. Read the instructions and follow them carefully. You will also need to clean EVERYTHING in your house that you came in contact with to ensure that your don't reinfect yourself. See the link below:

use the cream as directed if you still have problems you need to see your dr again

if it's elimite cream go ahead and use it again, if it's kwell, check with your dr first
