Is there anything that isn't bad?!
Question: My doctor called me today and told me my Aldosterone levels were 32. The normal is 3-16. I was looking at what all could cause this and everything seemed bad. Is there anything that is minor? What are ALL the causes? This all I have found:
High values
High aldosterone levels can be caused by:
* A tumor in the adrenal glands (Conn's syndrome).
* Kidney disease.
* Liver disease.
* Heart failure.
* A condition during pregnancy that causes high blood pressure (preeclampsia).
Symptoms of a high aldosterone include high blood pressure, muscle cramps and weakness, numbness or tingling in the hands, and low levels of potassium in the blood.
Low values

You could have the test repeated. Labs are not perfect.
