A question about illness??!

Question: SO I have this wicked fever/flu. And it makes my roof of my mouth dry my throat all full of mucas and my bones just so so sore. Now Im young, like in early teen years, and the worst thing is the pain in my eyes when I move them!
I need to ease the pain, I opened my eyes from when I fell asleep infront of the tv and was like holey crap, this hurts. What can I do Ive tried everything, sleeping reading looking at the sun!! Help?

The best thing you can do is let you body rest, so get plenty of sleep and drink plenty of liquids. You should get some cough drops too, I personally use Halls. If you are going to eat something, I suggest you go with the classic Chicken Noodle soup but any kind of soup is good.

Why would you look at the sun? Get some more sleep.

Drink Theraflu or Gatorade.

Just trying to get over this myself so I can fully sympathise. The only thing that has helped me is Beechams Cold and Flu Caspsules, a warm bath and sleep.

Hope you feel better soon...

EDIT: Medication is there for a reason. It won't hurt to take something to help you get better. If you really insist on no drugs, I would say plenty of vitamin C and still plenty of sleep.

Drink lots of water and go lay in a hot bath for about 30 minutes and try to pass out after that under a lot of blankets. You should sweet it out. Works for me everytime, for food poisoning, flu, fever, cold, etc...

Bad flu this year. I got it too. My nose ran and my eyes watered for a couple days before I really got sick. Nothing I tried over the counter gave me any relief. I went to the doctor and was given antibotics which helped but did not get rid of my infection in my chest. I am on my second dose of antibotics and I do feel like I am getting better, It has been a little over a month since I first got sick. My advice is get to the doctor for a check up and maybe get some medication.
