In your age group, it is usually a muscle hurting when you breathe. Your ribs have muscles between them you know and it you breathe deep sometimes they just pull farther than usual and you get a stabbing pain.

oh, I get that all the time! It's not really a problem. Do you have alot of trouble breathing? That always happens when my athsma is acting up, so I use my inhaler. But, don't worry. unless you have a family history of heart disease, it may be okay. Take a few deep breaths to calm yourself down when this happens. I hope that this helps and that you are okay!
Please do not hesitate to get checked out at your nurse's office or better yet, your family doctor. I recently lost some vision at work and got really hyper and antsy. Well, since I had been fighting off flu symtons for the last week, I thought that's what they were.........until I got home and my heart started pumping like a base drum.
