What can you make yourself eat when you're so sick & haven't eaten prope!

Question: I've having a malaria relapse (fever, chills, nausea etc) and can only handle fluids. I normally have a great appetite. The only real food I have been able to eat in 3 1/2 days has been a potato, a bowl of yoghurt ice cream, a bread slice, a pear and a slice of pizza. Yesterday and today all I have had is licorice and tea and can't face eating anything else and am too weak to cook. But the doctor says I have to eat, even just plain bread. yuk yuk yuk. Can I survive on licorice for another day? What can you make yourself eat when you feel like you can't eat? Please tell me what to eat - something easy. Thanks :)

I always try and eat fruit salad sometimes with or without yogurt sometimes your stomach wont take the dairy.
I buy it if I can if not just sit with a bowl of fruit and slice it up as I go plenty of melon and berries.
I hope you feel better.

Licorice will not really kill you, but it's just candy. How about some canned soup? That should not take all that much time to open a can and heat in the microwave. Otherwise, it sounds like you have had adequate intake for being so ill. Just licorice tho...nah, that won't get it....even with tea.

have something light light soup and perhaps some crackers

just eat a little if your don't feel up to it,but be sure to drink plenty of fluids like water, oj, ginger ale or herbal tea - to be easy on the stomach

perhaps get some gatorade type liquid to replenish your electrolytes
as long as your having a little something, you will eat more as you feel better

Try some chicken noodle soup, or chicken broth.

soups, ice cream, jello, yogurt, saltines, gingerale or sprite, gatorade, adkins shake, glucerna or boost shakes.

So many parents are shunning the controversial MMR (combined Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccine that Britain is at risk from dangerous outbreaks of measles. In some parts of the country, the vaccination rate has fallen to 75%, meaning that as many as one child in four may have no protection against the disease. "We are facing a real prospect of outbreaks in various parts of the UK and we are going to start seeing dead babies," said Dr George Kassianos, a spokesman for the Royal College of General Practitioners. The Government's target for vaccination is 95%, but after reaching a peak of 92% in 1995, vaccinations have fallen to a nationwide average of 84%, largely as a result of fears that the jab may be linked to autism.
