Question: It depends on the case of asthma, but hopefully good sense and clear judgement would stop you from joining the police.
You could always join McDonalds or something, at least then you wouldn't have to wear a stupid uniform and have people laugh at you.
I don't think it stops you, because I think you're also allowed to join the armed forces, as long as you can pass the fitness tests, the fitness test the police require is very relaxed anyhow, and easy to complete.
