I think I may have a blood clot in my right leg....?!

Question: For the past few days, I've had tenderness around the vein located on the back of my calf. Tender to the touch, now there is vein that I can feel on the front of my leg. It's popped out a bit and it hurts now. I am only 29 years old and work out 4-6 days a week. Not sure if I should go to the ER or wait for my Dr's office in the morning.

It sounds as if you have a superficial phlebitis. These are usually treated with rest and elevation and hot packs. As long as you have no pain in the course of the femoral vein which is located on the inner thigh you could wait until morning and go see the doctor. Do not work out.

Could be Varicose veins (Spider veins) from standing up on hard surfaces too long, or running too much with the impact on feet, legs and spine. I'm not sure. If it starts to tingle and won't stop, maybe you should see your doc

if you smoke that could be why. but wait for ur doctor

If it was me I would go to the ER. Blood clots can travel to you heart or lungs. It is a very serious matter. Please go to the ER just for reassurance. I will pray that all is well.
