My boyfriend got a cold sore last night..?!

Question: and it's in the "blistering" stage. I REFUSED to kiss him, but when he dropped me off at home today he jerkishly, pulled me in and kissed me a few times. I couldn't help it because he was holding my head. Haha. Am i going to get one now? Just from a couple of kisses?

Your boyfriend is an *ss.

It is highly likely you will catch the virus now, as it is spread through skin to skin contact and is highly contagious at the blister stage. If he understood his infection at all (which he should) he would have known this.

Do NOT let him kiss you again until it heals, and do NOT let him kiss you "down there" as it can cause herpes. Likewise, if he has infected you, and you get a sore, do NOT go down on him, or you may give him herpes too.

Did you wash your face right after he kissed you? If so, then don't worry too much about it.

Hopefully not.

Herpes simplex one (cold sore) is contagious when the virus is on the surface of the skin, and it may be before the actual blister comes. aka the shedding period. Herpes is transmitted via skin to skin contact. It is very contagious when in the blistering period. I would say you are at high risk of getting the virus from him via kissing.

You might.

Also, do NOT let him kiss you elsewhere, if you know what I mean, because the herpes could spread to your you know what.

Its not that big of a deal you probably already have the virus if you don't you will probably get it later.
