if you think you may be suffering from that disease, you have to go to the doctor's. It's not like a headache that you cure with paracetamol or aspirin.

The doctors will do tests to rule out any other possible conditions so that they can be pretty sure about the diagnosis.

Be responsible for your health and do the right thing!!

Nope, need to see a doc

Bi-polar is the modern term for the old Manic-Depressive, where the patient has extreme mood swings from depression to euphoria, often within minutes and even seconds. The patient will often swing between inconsolable crying to hysterical laughing, again often within seconds or minutes. This is not to be confused with depression alone, or mania by itself. If you, or someone you know experiences these symptoms, get them to the doctor, emergency room, or call 911. True Bi-polar is MUCH worse than just depression, and harder to treat. There are no medecines other than those a Doctor can administer, and even then they are carefully monitored because of possible side effects.

If you want to treat it naturally there are supplements you can buy at the store that supposedly help the disorder. Also food allergies, sugars, caffeine, dairy, preservatives all can aggravate mood swings. theres a lot of great natural books out there if that would be a route you would want to take.
