Has anyone had Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation?!

I had it done last year and it isn't bad at all. As a matter of fact I had mine done as an outpatient and went home that evening. Basically, you are very relaxed and groggy through out the procedure although not fully asleep. Afterward, you have to lay flat for a period of time because they usually put a sand bag on the artery in your groin area where they inserted the catheter to stop the bleeding. But other than that, there isn't much discomfort involved at all. Believe me when I say that it was well worth it to have it done because I feel so much better now. Good luck and take care.
