Yes saw it on sky news last night, how shocking and sad, poor johnny, lol.

he is a strong guy

Awwwww! I was so upset when I heard this! He's been diagnosed with pancriatic cancer.

yes he has cancer, but he doesn't have 5 weeks to live...that is just a rumor that was corrected by his press rep this morning on the news

The doctors say that the five week diagnosis is false. But pancreatic cancer is one of the worst to get because the symptoms can mirror so many different illnesses, by the time it's diagnosed, it's usually in the last stages. Definitely say some prayers for him.

I have all his films apart from point break. He has worked so hard to get where he is. Hope all goes well for him he's a strong man lets hope he gets through this ordeal. My prayers are with him x

Yes, it is true that he was diagnosed with cancer, but I don't know where you heard that he only has 5 weeks left.

Doctors are putting him through treatments that he seems to be responding favourably to. The doctors are optimistic that the current treatments will work with Swayze's cancer.

Of course there are no guarantees, but doctors are optimistic, at this point.

Pancreatic cancer is very aggressive and hard to treat, but we don't know the extent of his illness. I heard it was caught early. He could definitely have more time than that. It just depends on the stage and if/how much it has spread.

I heard the news this morning its terrible when anyone has cancer . We just have to hope that he and others who have cancer will get better because some people do recover ,
My mother did from Lung Cancer .This awful disease unites the rich and the poor ,even money cant stop this disease

I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer in 2004.
She lived 18 months after diagnosis, but it was a miserable, painful, drawn-out death.

There is no cure, and there are no treatments that are effective in the long term. Despite him being in the early stages, this form of cancer turns aggressive virtually overnight, and once it has left the confines of the pancreas, there is little they can do.

As the child of a pancreatic cancer patient find it sickening, and tactless that his doctors would permit such a spin and bold faced lies on the state of his condition.

I just hope what time he has left is spent in whatever comfort they can give him, because he does not have a pleasant end in front of him.

I'm sure he'll pull through
