Question: I have about 3 of the symptoms and am scared. My one breast seems to be growing rapidly, is painful and is warm to the touch. I am 18 years old. What are the chances I have this? Is it ALWAYS deadly?

Despite its name, inflammatory breast cancer does not cause inflammation the way an infection does. Signs and symptoms include: Rapid change in the appearance of one breast, over the course of days or weeks
-Thickness, heaviness or visible enlargement of one breast
-Discoloration, giving the breast a red, purple, pink or bruised appearance
-Unusual warmth of the affected breast
-Dimpling or ridges on the skin of the affected breast, similar to an orange peel
-Itching
-Tenderness, pain or aching
-Enlarged lymph nodes under the arm, above the collarbone or below the collarbone
-Flattening or turning inward of the nipple
-Swollen or crusted skin on the nipple
-Change in color of the skin around the nipple (areola)

Inflammatory Breast Cancer is nothing to play around with. You need to see of Dr asap. Does the skin look like an orange peel type area anywhere? That is another indicate of IBC..but could be abscess in there.
But, you could just have a cyst or something hormonal going on.
If you drink a lot of IBC root beer then you definitly have it and will maybe die from it. Just go see a docter!
