Diabulemia - what are your thoughts?!

I think it's awful. It's another eating disorder. When are we going to start respecting our bodies?? and when is the pressure gonna be taken off men and women to be thin. I think this one has gone too far.
I hadn't heard of this until I saw it on TV the other night. It scared me senseless now I have a diabetic daughter, it made me feel sick to think of it.
Im diabetic and it scares me senseless...i discovered this "trick" while i was in younger teenage years and it works- but its the most STUPID thing ever. Its not worth losing eye sight over. Luckily for me, somebody explained it all to me before it was too late. I just hope other diabetics know not to try this.
