OH no it can't that stuff is harsh. I had to quit taking it to get another antibiotic. Yes, it made me sick. You need to drink at least a good size glass of milk and a slice of bread or something. Plus you need to drink 4 ounces of water every hour or it will settle into your kidney's. I just had to deal with this stuff. So, yes eat and drink plenty of fluids. It is stout.
