Fasting blood sugar. Is 75 better than 85, eventhough both are normal?!

Question: No, anything between 70 and 100 is great. No benefit to being lower vs. higher within that range.

You should check with your health care provider to find your "normal range" and tolerance levels.

Normal blood sugar is 70-110....I am an ER RN & this is our labs guidelines......85 is not too low, neither is 75.....get info from the American Diabetes Association & only listen to those persons medically qualified to answer your questions to avoid potentially life threatening problems....Good Luck!

Blood sugar level should never be too low or too high.

I would say 85 is better because 75 is too low. Ask your doctor.

Both are normal. However, if you have had elevated sugar for a long period of time, 75 will make you feel awful.

If you are shaky, woozy, have blurred vision, or feel extremely weak, your sugar is too low. Your body may adjust to this with time, but it helps to track what your sugar is and how you feel.

When I first started treatment, having sugar below 80 made me weak and shaky. Now, I don't feel that way unless it dips below 60 (which it rarely does).

Both are purfectly normal, even though 85 is higher then 75. Your going a wonderful job obviously lol.
