My doctor is doing a test where I take 3 Sodium Chloride tablets 4 times a day ( 12 tablets a day ) for 2 days.
Then I go and get blood drawn.
After that I go on a very low sodium diet for two days, and then go get my blood drawn again.

I've been looking for your test, but haven't found it exactly. It might be for electrolyte panel, chloride, sodium, anion gap?

They are checking your sodium levels and probably calcium and maybe your kidney funtion What kind of problems were you having? it is just part of a regular lab workup SOD.CL
