My daughter has Molluscum does anyone know a cure?!
Question: She is only four and she has had this for over a year, the treatments from the doctor aren't working, they also gave me some medicine to do treatments at home, they only result in pain. It is spreading to her face, I really want this to be gone before she starts kindergarten.

My daughter had this and the doctor gave us a topical - Mupriocin - which didn't help alot..but if you haven't tried it, it may be worth a shot.
The doctor also prescribed Cimetidine which is actually a stomache medicine but she said sometimes it works and they don't really know why. Well, it did work. It cleared it up. It was awesome.
My son has it now and I may see about getting the cimetidine for him.
Also, it can be spread and get worse from itching it so try to remind her not to itch if you see her itching at it.
