So, once i've had a strand of the cold. am i immune from that strand?!


Question: Say i get the cold, and i give it to my friend. Is it even a posability to get that exact cold back?
and could the virus have mutated or something to where i might not be imune?

i know not alot isk nown on the common cold, but its just really sparked an interest to me

that is true. that is how vaccines work. once you get it, your body works up an immunity. the problem is that viruses mutate rather quickly, hence the reason for the flu shot every year. amazing how the body works isn't it?

There is no cure for the common cold and no vaccine against it so, yes, you could get it back.

yeah, once your body immunizes that cold, you wont get it again, but you can get an extremely similar one, and they mutate like crazy
