Her head must be flat on one side due to sleeping on that side. Her head is turned to one side: This is known as torticollis. It may be due to muscle injury during birth('sternomastoid tumour') This is corrected with physiotherapy. It may be due to a malformation of one or more vertebrae(hemivertebrae). This will be confirmed on X ray of the cervical spine.
