Help my husband says his vision is gettin blurry?!

Question: Are there any doctors or nurses out there. My husband has been complaining about a bump under his eye for the last couple of days and now he says his eye vision is getting blurry in that eye. He has diabeties and thinks is might be high blood sugar but there seems to be something else wrong and I don't have a clue. He is concerned. he is afraid he may be going blind. I am concerned also is there anyone out there that has any advise for us. Thanks

my doctor says that blurred vision is a sign of high blood sugar. if he has had high blood sugar for several days it could be enough to mess with his vision. i would go to the doctor immediately. go to your family doctor or a walk in clinic. diabetics heal alot slower then non-diabetics so you wouldnt want the problem to get worse and then he could lose sight in his eye as a result if it can be treated.

Go to a doctor.

QUICK GET THE SOLDERING IRON AND CAUTERIZE IT
I'LL GET THE SHARPS AND THE MORPHINE
HURRY! IF HE SLIPS OUT OF CONSCIOUSNESS, WE MAY LOSE HIM

Go to the Hospital!! You need to get him checked as soon as possible just in case something bad happens!

The only advice could be that he has to see a doctor as soon as possible. Eyesight is vital and he should treat this as urgent. Whatever is causing this may be easily corrected or treated by doctors, so plz dont wait. Good luck :)

he should go get his eyes checked as soon as possible if it is something bad it will be caught in time

You should get him to a doctor or a hospital straight away. Stop wasting time on this forum.

The people that are saying go to the doctor, I completely agree with. Vision going blurry could be the result of high blood sugar, a stroke and sometimes it is the first symptom of MS.

First he needs to see his internist/endocrinologist - no one on here can "see" his eyes or know anything about him. Does he control his diabetes well?? Men have a tendency to let diabetes spiral out of control before doing anything about it, rather than constantly keeping it under control as they should. If he checks his sugars at LEAST 4 times a day (before each meal and at bedtime) and they are kept within normal range it will keep complications to a minimum. Tell him to see his doctor and not to stress unless there is something to worry about - stress can mess up his glucose level also.

Take him to the doctor. Why would he want to mess around with his sight??
