Thrush doesnt just go away, however it may subside so you think its gone away. You shouldnt need to visit a doctor yet so I would suggest that an initial and often very successful course of action is by using a cream, namely an anti-fungal called Caneston, which although it is also available as a tablet, I would advise against the tablet form as you may experience side effects (headaches & Nausea), so go with the cream. Boots or any chemist should stock it and if you prefer not to order over the counter you can order online from Boots too.

If the thrush returns repeatedly (more than 4 times a year) then you would be advised to see a doctor, when in most cases he will prescribe a stronger treatment for an extended period.

Well I researched thrush and it's a yeast infection of the mouth and tongue. If your vaginal area is itching and if you have a cottage-cheese like discharge you could have a yeast infection. Normally your vagina has natural yeast and bacteria and when the yeast over flows the bacteria you get a yeast infection and vice versa. You should go to the dr just to be certain of your infection and so you don't mistreat it. Yeast infections are normal so I don't think you have anything to worry about. Talk to your mom more about it or an adult you trust. The infection doesn't normally clear up on it's on.

You should go SEE your DR to get this problem cleared up!
