How should I treat my hamster if it has diabetes?!

You should go see a vet. How do you know that it has diabetes?
how does a hamster get diabetes. I don't know my sister has diabetes but they give her shots. can you give your hamster shots? otherwise i think your a lost cause.

The only way I think you could tell that your hamster had diabetes is if they drank an unusual amoung of water.
Salt has nothing to do with Diabetes. Diabetes is Hyperglycemia or high blood sugar.
There is NO way for you to make this diagnosis without tests (done by the vet). They would take a blood sample to see if the hampster has elevated sugar levels.

Include virgin coconut oil on its diet.
It will help to control blood sugar.
