Radiation tablets?!?!
Question: I just saw a bottle of tablets that supposedly help prevent radiation sickness by filling the thyroid with iodide so no new radioactive iodides can enter into it, this sound like a bunch of BullSH*** to me. I cant help but think that the thyroid is not the only thing that is effected by radiation,its , well, everything. This seems like a bunch of jive, but if any of you know anything at all about this please let me know, because if it is real, it might be something to look into.

Wow...I thought you were kidding, so I looked it up...and there they were...potassium iodide pills...I've never heard of this until now.
I'm with you though....I think it's B.S., and another way to dupe the public into thinking it can survive something like that...kinda like the duct tape over the windows debacle... Radiation fall-out is so far reaching and devastating I doubt it can be fended off with a pill.
Are we talking internal or external radiation and what area is being treated?
the radiation pills are what they say. I have read about them many times from different places. go to LEF.org to read more about these pills
Are you expecting to get radiation sickness any time soon? Do you wake up in a cold sweat thinking about it? What about the Amazonian willie burrowing fish; or spontaneous human combustion? Lose much sleep over them?
