Anyone have a good home remedy for stress of the highest magnitude?!

Question: I have stretched myself a bit too far these past few days. I'm a little tired but cannot sleep. Also I had a little trip down the stairs this afternoon. I'm not hurt but more just stressed. THANKS for your help!

Personally, I like a good cognac for such times. And sleep.

take a long warm bath, and go to bed, read a good book till you get tired, you'll probably feel sore in the morning, from your trip down the stairs.
(hope it wasnt too bad) and dont work too hard, take time to smell the roses.

a long hot bubble bath, a few glasses of nice wine, and into bed while you're still warm from the bath.

Some epsom salts in the bath will help ease the aches and pains, and if you put essential oils of lavendar, orange and patchouli in a vapouriser in your bedroom you will feel more relaxed.

Dim lighting, no tv, no music, no computers, slide into clean sheets and read until you fall asleep,

Try some nurofen for the aches and pains

for the "trip down stairs" a good hot bubble bath and bed are best!!

Yoga deep breathing and relaxation movements help me a lot with the stresses of living!! My world can go out of control too!

http://www.yoga.about.com has a lot of these movements diagrammed and written out so anyone can follow them.

Chamomile tea, lavendar bath salts, or massage therapy

I hope this helps, Maggie
