what kind of cancer?
need more information.

Thanks for clarifying that for us.
Stage 2B means that the tumour is less than 5 cm and the lymph nodes under the arm contain cancer cells but are not stuck to each other, and the cancer has not spread
OR
The tumour is bigger than 5 cm across, there are no cancer cells in the lymph nodes in the armpit and the cancer has not spread.

If it were me or my daughter in this situation, I would advise radiation. Radiation is much more localized than it used to be, aimed specifically at the affected site you wish to treat and not a whole-body experience as it once was (in living memory for a lot of us!)

My reasoning is this: if you dont do this now, the cancer cells can reasonably be expected to proliferate and metastasize, which will cause MUCH more of a problem than the one you have now. Then, you may require not only radiation but also chemotherapy and extensive surgery...not to mention the services of a mortician.
Best that you thank your lucky stars for the situation being not as bad as it COULD have been as far as diagnosis goes...
please act quickly and decisively, consult a gynocological oncologist, and get this taken care of as soon as possible. Dont put this off.
Here's a hug & a prayer for a full & speedy recovery!

If your doctor has recomended radiation, I'd go for it.
Unlike chemo, radiation has very few side effects. And the results are very encouraging.

But also depends what kind & what stage we're talking about here

you have to give us more information.
like ....what kind of cancer and what stage??

You don't give any information about the stage of your cancer, what type of cancer, etc, so I don't think anyone could give you an idea. Talk with your doctor about this. That is the person with the most informed information who could also tell you the most specific information for you. This is an okay question to ask the doctor.
