Are the pockmarks caused by HERPES permanent??!

Question: I dunno i recovered from that dreadful disease 2 weeks back. And sadly all the marks are on my face so just wanted to know??
And besides i find it really weird coz i'm a virgin and i've not even kissed anyone exchanged any kind of lingerie or something o_0

herpes on the face is not sexually transmitted, it is called herpes simplex and is the same virus as that which causes chicken pox in childhood...and like chicken pox scars, herpes scars are permanent too.
