Do you have to wear a leg brace if one leg is noticeably shorter than the other?!

Question: Is it true that if you can't afford surgery, a leg brace is the only alternative?

My oldest son has one leg longer than the other due to hip surgery. There are shoes and/or shoe inserts you can get that will make the leg length the same.

If you can't afford the surgery, talk to the hospital about a payment plan.

i guess it depends how much shorter. could you just walk crooked? i have a friend whose leg is shorter than the other and he just walks around normally.

My grandfather had this problem and he just had special shoes made (Im not sure how much this cost, I'm sorry) He had the sole of one shoe about an inch thicker than the other shoe. It worked out for him! Nobody would ever even notice.

No, just slice a little off the other leg.
