UTI diagnosis?!
Question: I have been having pelvic pain for a little bit now. I thought that I probably had a gynecological problem. However, I went to my gynecologist and I don't - no cysts, and my symptoms are not characteristic of endometriosis. I also don't have PCOS and I'm not pregnant. When I am sitting, I feel the pain in the middle of my pelvis - low down. Also, on my back right near my tailbone - on either sides I have pain. It's not terrible, just noticeable. The pain is only when I am sitting. When I walk or lie down it goes away. I got tested for a UTI because I have very foul smelling urine in the morning and when it is very concentrated - it smells exactly the same a when I've had confirmed UTIs. I had two tests for a UTI and they were negative. Does anyone have any clue what this could be?

I can think of two possibilities: a misalignment or inflammation of your tailbone, or interstitial cystitis, although neither of these would explain foul-smelling urine. For the urine problem, you may be chronically dehydrated. The fact that the pain problem changes with sitting or standing points more toward a muscle/spinal problem.
