Smoking weed does not give you herpes. Having a coldsore doesn't either - yes, it's a strain of the herpes virus, but unless you have been giving yourself oral, you can't get it down below that way. If someone else gave you oral while they had a coldsore, you could have gotten it that way.
It's also not likely you would have gotten it from your mother. Tests for such things are done on pregnant women, and appropriate medical precautions taken for the baby.
Go see a doctor. It could be something as simple as plain old zits. You can get them anywhere on your body. It could be a lots of things, but it's not likely that it's herpes. It doesn't sound anything like what my two girlfriends who have herpes describe at all.

A coldsore is the same strain of virus as herpes, but if you had one inside the mouth it probably has nothing to do with what is going on "down there."
herpes are lesions, they act just like a cold sore- start out as a blister then crust over. They are painful and do not excrete pus.
