Something like a very small pimple on my bottom eyelid?!

Question: I recently noticed that i have a VERY small pimple-like thing on my lower eyelid. It looks kind of like this: http://www.eyecareclinic.org/eweb/articl... except it's not a stye. It's really, really small (probably less than 1mm). But I am worried, is it something bad?

You might try a hot towel to speed things along. That's what the doc recommended when I had a stye. Even if you don't think it's a stye, it couldn't hurt.

Don't try to pop that thing with a needle! Yikes!!

no it will be a spot i had one for weeks and it just burst go to ur docs if ur worried

It's probably just an ingrown hair. Wait a while and see what happens with it before you bother with a doctor.

I've had them and my eye doctor told me that it's no big deal. It lasted a really long time, like more than a year, but it never caused any problems. It's from touching your eye when your hands are less than clean. As long as it's not irritating you, don't worry about it. But if it starts to hurt, have it check out.

It might be a stye. I get them when I'm tired. I heard cutting a potato up and resting it on your eye like people who do facials with cucumbers can help, though I've usually just gone to bed and woken up fine.

Actually, mine are sometimes big enough that I can pop them with a pin. This sounds revolting, I know. But if you are steady of hand and have ever popped a pimple, it's essentially the same thing. Keep it sterile, don't miss.

Take care.
