Do you have any ideas on this teenagers condition? She already went to the docto!

Question: and they said all her bloodwork was normal. She's 15 years old and she has had a few fainting spells. She is a normal, healthy, active teen. She said her heart felt racy and vomited a few days after her last episode. I am a family friend and I am worried about her. Her family cannot afford a specialist, and I think there is more to it than just a knot on her head from fainting. The doctors acted like it was no big deal. I just wanted to see if there is a doctor or anyone out there that could maybe shed a litte more light on this for me. I'm not asking for a diagnosis, just someone to throw something out there for me to further look into. Anything.

look up vasovagal cardiogenic response

it really could be nothing. At 15 her hormones are working them selves out, she could be going through puberty, she could be stressed at school and not even really know that it's effecting her. She might be not eating and keeping that from her parents and friends. Mal nutrition can cause weakness and fainting. That is all I can think of off my head. Has she recently had her period, if it was really heavy this could have caused her to faint. As well as the vomiting, I used to get really weak and vomit when I was younger and had my period because it was so irregular and my body was still adjusting to it.

could be dehydration too. if she's active and her body is adjusting to new hormones and things, she might need to drink more fluids. you said bloodwork was normal, did they check for anemia? it's common in girls and dizziness can be a symptom. i have it and get very faint a lot if i forget to take a vitamin. try to get her to drink more water and take a multivitamin...if it doesn't improve, she needs to go back to the doctor.

but i'm no doctor, just my experiences/thoughts.

Good luck! I hope everything is ok.
