Something wrong with my body, or all in my head?!

Question: Sometimes I feel like my blood pressure is dropping really low and my heart is barely beating. Usually along with that I feel like my body isn't producing any heat. I'm not necessary cold, just I feel as if my physical body temperature has dropped.
I have a problem with binge eating, and I regularly eat 3,500-5,000 calories a day, and I have been for about 6 months on and off. I am a healthy weight of 130 pounds ( at 5' 7"). I have weeks where I exercise consistently, but not excessively, and I have weeks where I do nothing at all except walk to class, which isn't too far. When I try not to binge eat and I eat a healthy amount (around 1700 calories), I start to feel like my blood pressure is dropping and that my heart might stop.
I have a history of bulimia, and at my lowest weight I was 98 pounds, but that was 5 years ago. More recently I had a relapse and got down to about 115, but I have not purged for more than 6 months.

Keep an honest food diary for a fortnight and see if you can connect any changes with your diet fluctuation. In either case, see a dr, your evidence will probably help a lot. It's probably hormonal based on sugar consumption and processing.

i think you have a 'healing krisis' but its okay soon.

You have been to the Doctor and was told that you are normal. So what are you doing that is not normal, the binge eating. To me the rapid weither loss and gain is likely to have a big part of why you feel like you do. It is my advice that you see a Head Doctor or at the very least get help for the eating problems, something like a support group.

You mentioned the thyroid functions, so hypo -(or hyper-, as the symptoms point to hyperthyroidism rather than hypo.)thyroidism, is ruled out. I would be interested in knowing the hemogram. Turning to pure veg diet all of a sudden could make you a bit anemic. See the response to some iron, vitamin, mineral supplement.
Good luck!

Bariley .................. I have hyper-thyroid , and it has been a merry-go -round of my whole body , I weighed 129 pounds and dropped to 87 pounds , I will suggest you get your thyroid checked again , because the thyroid is very sneaky ,one day it is in the level it should be , the next day it is all different.............. if the thyroid is not working right . I have gained weight back I now weigh 105 , but I could be 100 tomorrow . Take care of your self . I understand your problems .
