Are you thinking of adrenaline? Adrenaline can cause the heart to beat faster and blood to pump more quickly (higher blood pressure). But adrenaline usually comes in spurts, not a constant.
You could always have your adrenal glands tested to see if they are overproducing adrenaline.
Either way, you need to ask your doctor about it.
