Is there something natrual... like a fruit that helps clear up acne?!

Question: Hey Leah,

I used to have acne really bad. One day I was searching for like natural acne cures and remedies, I found this blog http://www.AcneCuresForLife.blogspot.com haha( I bookmarked it lol )

Anyway I got the acne free product deal he recommends and my acne literally disappeared. It was crazy. The product i bought had a money back guarantee which is kinda cool too. I think it's only like $25 or something and it's all natural

Anyway, I hope that helps!

Jonathan

I know that fruits are high in antioxidants which are really good for the skin. Here's a website that has information about anti-acne food and at the bottom there's a list of links for homemade cures, treatments, etc... --- http://ezinearticles.com/?Eat-Fruit-To-C...

No. No fruit is going to help clear your face of acne. Why these ingredients are included in skin care items is somewhat baffling -- have you ever seen a prescription skin cream/gel that had fruit in it? Usually, these things are more irritating to skin than they are curative for any skin condition. Glycolic acid is derived from sugars; salicylic acid is a cousin/derivative of aspirin; lactic acid is contained in whole milk -- and Accutane is a derivative of Vitamin A. However, that's about as "natural" as real skincare gets. (Other than oils being moisturizing.)

Stick with real, proven solutions to acne: benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and sulfur-based skincare treatments. Many of these products have their origin in nature, but their concentrations in "natural" items/products are too low to be effective for actual treatment.

Drinking lots of water is good for your skin. Sorry, but nothing natural REALLY works long term (trust me). You gotta get on meds for something that will really cure bad skin.

Orange juice can be an effective remedy for pimples and acne. It can also be used for scar and blemish removal.
