Is someone with strep throat REALLY not contagious after 24 hrs of antibiotics?!

no, I would give it closer to 72 hours...
Strep throst is highly contagious and treatment of 24 hrs has not cured it, they can be contagious until they are completely over it.
Since it is a bacteria and not a virus, I would guess that is correct... Just don't touch anything! Or at least wash your hands a lot!
