Yes, I was having a blood sample taken from my arm and I made the stupid mistake of watching the blood being drawn into the syringe.
I turned green and stayed that way for about 6 hours.
Now I always lie down when giving a blood sample and I never watch it being done.
It is not serious but it is not pleasant either ; I was VERY sick and nauseous. I am not sure why we turn green in the face sometimes. Usually we just turn white as the blood drains away from the face .

There is a guy who turned blue. He put silver nitrate on his skin to help with a skin rash, and the silver got into his skin cells and reacted to the sun the way photographic paper does, and turned his skin a blue color. He was on Oprah recently and Dr. Oz explained what had happened. And he will be this blue color for the rest of his life.
