I have a severe urine infection.....the pain is driving me mad!?!
Question: Last time I had one like this the pain got so bad I passed out!
I'm scared because I live alone now - and if I pass out there will be no one to find me
I went to the doctors today - they prescribed Trimethoprim antibiotics - I have taken 2 but its getting worse by the minute now
And I'm worried because they said it takes 2 days to see if they have given me the right medication for the right bacteria
I just want to feel better fast - because it seems to be getting worse very fast!
Any tips? Help? etc

Cranberry juice is always the first answer and even though it is a good one.....Also drink water! Sometimes the acid from the cranberry juice can also burn coming out.
If you don't hate water...try drinking a ton of it. Also...you can still have the cranberry juice but cut it half and half with the water.
Another concern is...with any antibiotic you need to remember that can cause a yeast infection. Stock yourself up on some yogurt and you should be ok in that area because believe me....the urine infection is MORE than enough...you don't want to add a yeast infection to that.
Try as much as you can to just rest. Sometimes the more you are moving around the more you will feel like you have to pee.
