I advise you take him to nasa. They are always looking for people to test their new space-launches. Surely he has always also had the dream to be an astronaut? Nasa has particular jobs reserved specially for sick/dying people. Apparently the job involves testing new shuttle ejection trajectories - your friend will be jettisoned into space! It's the best thing for both him and you now - may as well distance yourselves before the tragic event occurs.

take arm off before it spreads .

praying

sadly not much, Just open up and try to go with it.. party and enjoy yourselves as much as possible before that day comes..
If he doesnt have long..
If longer then a few months, he could maybe try getting the arm amputated or something if it hasnt spread.. worth way more getting an arm taken off then dying.. I know Id do that if I had something like that and didnt want any type of treatment like lasers and stuff.. sadly might be a bit harsh, but id bet it would work..

Give him lots of love, and green tea. Green tea has been proven to halt some cancer cells from growing. I don't know if this will help, but I wish him luck.

You can help him by being there for him, and telling him he is brave. He is standing up for what he believes in, and that's alright.
Don't act weird around him because he is sick, he probably wants to feel normal and live out the last days of his life in a happy way.
The last, and most important thing you can do for your friend and yourself is pray! People don't give praying enough power, and if your friend isn't cured then you can pray that he will go to a place much better than this, with no suffering or pain.
Good luck with your friend, it will be a hard time for both of you.

Don't presume to know more than the doctors, but do assume that a second opinion is often a good thing to get!! Other than that you just need to be the best most supportive friend you can possibly be!!! Listen to him rant, rave or cry!! Offer a small joke when he needs a laugh!! Just listen!!! Just be there!! And pray for him every day and for yourself that you might be helpful to your friend and strong enough to help him on his journey! God Bless!!

Spend As Much Time As Possible With Him! Before It's Too Late! Don't Regrete It Later! Good Luck!

I am so sorry. Pray everyday! It is in the Lords hands! God bless him and you! Stay strong. My prayers are with you both!!!

not a doctor, so can't help with the cancer part, but my suggestion is to pray hard--and LIVE! LIVE THE REST OF HIS LIFE TO THE FULLEST (KIND OF LIKE THE MOVIE THE "BUCKET LIST") go make enjoyable memories--it is much better to do that, than to keep dwelling on the enormous pain that he must be going through, but be there for him, even if it is to sit silently by his side.

Don't always listen to them when they start to predict death sentences. I know someone who was told she only had half a year and she has gone on to survive cancer five times, many many more years than anyone ever though to give her. Strength and support does alot. He might not like the idea of those things but if they are the only options, he has to. Psychologically though, don't let him convince himself he's going to die. The body and mind have a way of convincing themselves when their told such things- they stop fighting.
