Question: i have a mole under my armpit and it is raised but i have had it for like 3-4 years and i dont feel any different i just wanted to know if this is melanoma?

If the mole has been there for years, has not increased in size or shape, colour or consistency it is most likely a normal mole.
Cancerous moles will grow bigger, have an uneven edge (like a big splotch rather than a nice circle shape). they will change colour, getting darker or reddish, and they will be less smooth than ordinary moles.
If you're concerned about it, it's a simple procedure to have it removed.
I have one of those as well. Not so much a mole as a 'skin tag'. I got it checked out, and while they're harmless it's always good to get them checked and pay attention to see if they change colour or size. A change in colour could mean it's cancerous and a change in growth could be harmful to you. If it really doesn't bother you and hasn't changed at all, I'd say let it be but still get it checked out next time you're at the doctor / derm. Getting them removed is always an option as well, more of a 'better safe than sorry' deal. G'luck! (:
If it is not growing bigger and is painless then nothing to worry. but I think you must meet your doctor.
