dries it

Its meant to dry it out, but most of the time it does nothing

It supposedly dries up the pimple, but it's never worked for me

nothing. doesnt work

It dries out the zit but sometimes it can be irritating to the skin and make things wors. I personaly wouldnt sugest it. Just clense your face well and then follow up with a toner that is alcohol free.

Something in the toothpaste is suppose to dry acne out. However, heard that it doesnt really work. So it would probably just leave you smelling minty and sticky.

The bleach (whitening) dries it up.

Dry it out, but dont count on it!

dries it out but , it wont take the red out of the pimple

Do you have tartar or plaque on your acne? Probably not, huh? Don't put toothpaste on your face! Depending on the ingredients, yes, it could dry out your pimple. There are so many myths as far as acne goes. But this one is true:
Milk causes breakouts!
i suggest you use something by Neutrogena to wash your face twice daily. They even make microderm pads that you slip over your finger and wash your face with. Your complexion will look brighter and healthier! Don't use toothpaste! For a quick fix with redness..... you may apply visine. Just make sure your skin is not broken or cut cause then you could get really sick from your stomach.

Well if you use a toothpaste with Listerine or Scope in it, it will sting! I've had experience. Most of the time it dries it out but make sure that if you want to try it test it on a small piece of your arm or something, we don't want you getting a rash!

if you're thinking of trying it, dont. it DOES NOT work

From personal experience I can tell you that it will seriously burn upon contact unless it's a really mild toothpaste.
Having said that, the mint which often causes the burning sensation brings the blood to the surface and opens the pores, when you was it off it certainly cleans them.
It also dries out any excess oil production from the acne.
It often produces immediate effects and makes raised acne look a little less drastic (due to the drying) but it doesn't last long and often irritates it and makes everything worse if it's used in excess.

It's meant to dry up the pimple, but i've found it doesn't do a thing to my pimples!
