Am i doing this right??!


Question: my doctor never explained how to properly use an inhaler never showed me the steps or anything so i decided to look online, and now im wondering if im doing it right

i have a 45 mg xopenx levalalbuterol inhaler when i take it i put it inmy mouth and and press the container and inhale hard hold my breath for a while then release

plz i just want to know if i am doing this properly and if you could give me tips it would be appreciated ( i have a spacer but i take my inhaler during pe so i cannot use it all the time )

any advice tips or if if im doing it completely wrong let me know it would be appreciated

well, i take inhalers too, for PE also, and im not quite sure if we are using the same inhaler, but what you should do, is breathe out so all the air is out of your lungs, put the inhaler in your mouth, so that the long peice is pointing up, and press down. and inhale, hold your breath for ten seconds.

You need to talk to a doctor about that....anything a non doctor tells you could harm you!

When you press down the inhaler you should take a deep breath as the inhaler releases the medication/
