Bad problem after using a Biore skin product, help!?!

Question: I used the warming or heating or.. something masque from Biore a few days ago. When putting it on I noticed it burned hot when I touched it to my face, but since it said it was a self-heating masque I wasn't sure if this was actually supposed to happen. When I rinsed it off in the shower it was fine, but when I stepped out my face was red, but decently smooth (it's normally smooth, it was as it normally was except a bit shiny).

The next day I had this.. almost filmy thing of bumps all over my face that felt VERY strange, almost like it wasn't actually skin but a residue. Sure enough, it was skin. I put my normal moisturiser on and left it be. Then a couple of days ago I (stupidly, I'll admit it) scrubbed my face with a washcloth in frustration to have my skin back and put my moisturiser on and it burned, but I didn't take it off. Then I started waking up with these dry patches on my chin, noticibly dry. I now have these patches that hurt, but don't itch. Suggestions? Thanks. (:

Sounds to me like you did a major peel on your skin. I did that once when using Retin-A. My skin got really dry and I decided to Buff-Puff it off -- ended up with sore red patches all over my face. Took a while to heal.

Treat your skin as gently as possible for a while. No scrubbing. No strong products. The skin needs to heal.

My daughter was using the biore nose peels!? You wet them and put them on your nose and wait for it to dry and then you peel it off and it is suppose to take out all these black heads with it!

Anyway, it did more than just that! It actually peeled away some of her skin!! You need to be very careful when it comes to using different products on your face! As soon as something doesn't feel right!! I would wash it off right away!!

For now, I would let your face be and let it heal! If anything maybe some polysporin can go on it, but; nothing else or you will irritate it even more making it worse than it already is!

Put rose water or aloe vera gel to soothe and heal

dont put any oil based things on for a while

if you have any lavender essential oil, put 1-2 drops in a bottle of water, shake well and apply few times a day- its one of the best treatments for pain and healing skin.

Stick to natural products- I get a few good ones at this site www.katuri.com

Drink loads of water.
