Pneumonia can it kill me?!
Question: Hey yes, i had pneumonia for like 3 weeks now...i had all the signs of classic pneumonia and i did do antibiotics for like a 1 week...but it wont go away, everytime i do sumthing i get exhausted and my heart races, i always think when i go to sleep i am going to stop breathing. can this happen? can i die? should i like right now go to a clinic? are can pneumonia just go away?

Yes, you need to go to the doctor's again, the antibiotic that was prescribed for you didn't take effect, you may need a stronger one, and or need to take it for a longer period of time. The things that you are feeling are the side effects of pneumonia, I don't think you'll stop breathing, your body will make you cough, or gasp for oxygen. You will be short of breath and get very tired from it. But you really need to get back to the doctor's. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

yes is can kill you i have a friend who almost died from not taking care of it and he ended up having 1/3 of his right lung removed because it was so damaged from the pneumonia...go to a doctor and get it checked out

Get to Convenient Care ASAP!! While most types of pneumonia are not dangeruos for otherwise healthy people, you are risking complications by not getting appropriate treatment. Please get checked out right away..
if you are still having high temperatures, you are in danger, but you should see the doctor anyway. your lungs might still be healing, and are not working fully, and that will make you feel really breathless. There might also be some scarring.
People with paralysis or elderly people can easily die from pneumonia.
You can die from it, even if you don't feel that sick.
