Strep (type B)?!
Question: I am being treated for vaginal strep (im not pregnant) and I am taking Ampicillin TR 250mg...I was going by my friends tonight to watch our shows and have wine. Can I drink on this medication? I hear if you drink on some medication it will not work.

First off, why are they treating you if you aren't pregnant? Group B is normal flora in the vaginas of women! Unless it was a predominant growth, what in the hell was the doctor thinking? God, some doctors are so fricking stupid! And people wonder why bacteria becomes resistant! Sorry for the rant....couldn't help it....
Yes, you can drink with ampicillin...no worries. Have a good time!
