2 yr old with pink eye?!
Question: we went to a birthday party on saturday and today (wednesday) around noonish, her eye kept getting these really big yellow (what I thought was an eye boogie) things in it. now it's bed time and her eye is all swollen but the whites of her eyes aren't red. she has never had allergy problems before, do you think it could be pink eye? if so how long do I wait before I call the dr?

call the doctor first thing. If it is pink eye it is very contagious. Keep all hands out of the eye which I know is hard because it usually itches. Wash all bedding so it doesn't spread anymore.
Call the doctor first thing in the am, if it's pink eye there is only one way for it to get better, and that's from prescription drops. I tried the drops at the drug store that say they get rid of pink eye and it did nothing.
keep all fingers out of eyes and wash them well. call the pediatrician for antibiotic drops.
