How often have you worried about cancer?!

Question: I don't have a reason too at this point, but i think I worry about it more than I should.

Answers: I don't have a reason too at this point, but i think I worry about it more than I should.

Honestly, if you dont have cancer, please dont think about it.
If ever you were diagnosed, then you should be concerned. I was diagnosed with cancer and have successfully been put into remission after chemotherapy and stem cell transplant. Believe me, after going through all of this I am trying not to think about it, and waste my life worrying about this. You are a health person (by your account), so do not waste your precious life worrying about what might happen. Healthy people are involved in accidents everyday. The world is random and scary sometimes, but enjoy the life that you have. Hope I helped

Always. In 2 years I had to bury my grandmother and aunt due to cancer. They both had something different.

i think i have cancer, but no one has found it yet. i get paranoid about that stuff.

Sometimes...especially when i watch Oprah/Dr Oz

I do!! Every lump n bump i freak out!!

I think I worry more than I should too...at least we'll have early detection chuck!

All the time...i find the smallest lump and i'm straight to the doctors!

Never. Sure it could happen, but whats the point in worrying about it.

I've worried about it a couple times. I don't know if that's normal or not. In my case, I would take some vague symptom I had and research it online and then cancer would keep popping up and it would scare the heck out of me. So I have tried to just stop doing that.

my aunt has cancer at the moment. three types. Lung, heart and brain. The docter said she only have a few weeks to live. even if no one if your family has cancer you should still worry because it could happen to your family and even to you. I remember when my mom told me and my sister. She locked herself in her room for three days. At the moment my aunt has so many drugs and medacations. Whenever i see her she acts like she is stonded and high. it is effects of the drugs she is taking to slow down her canser. You shuld worry about this sickness alot and savor the time you have with your family as i savor the time with my aunt. Friday is her birthday. My mom said not to buy her somting but to make it. She will probably not have time to use the things we would buy her. Worry alot!

Don't let it become an obsession Be sure to have your yearly test but other than that enjoy life. I had it about 15 years ago and it's no fun but you deal with it.. All this stuff on TV is necessary but it also scares people.

i worry a lot about getting skin cancer b/c i go tanning and i always think that I'm going to get it and during the summer I'm in the sun all the time and don't wear sun block b/c i want to be tan.......so yea i worry a lot

I have had it in my family and now I have it. I also don't think that people should be over anxious until they check symptoms out with a doctor. Most of the time it isn't cancer.

never worried unless I had a suspicious report. then, got it. thryoid cancer. no symptoms at all. now? I still don't worry. I go for my tests every 6 months for that and yearly mamos and gyno things, and voila...I am too busy living to worry about dying. you can get hit by a bus tomorrow. just live and make every day count. you can wake up in the morning and have 2 choices, one is to be happy, one is to be unhappy. choose to be happy.
