Can you gain back lung capacity if you used to smoke then quit.?!


Question: In highschool i was a really good athleat. I played football and wrestled. My senior year i jared my spine. I had to quit football after week 7 and i couldent wrestle. I had a lot of free time on my hands and i started hanging out with a different group of people. i picked up smoking. i did this for about a year. I quit about 4 months ago. not one cigerett since. have a permanently scrued up my lungs or can i get back my lung capacity?

You can most definitely gain back your lung capacity!--I've read lots about this--it's awesome! Congrats on quitting! That's seriously a big thing to do! (Ask any kid who's lost a parent to addiction or drug use..)
