Phenergan used for dizziness?!
Question: I know that Phenergan is primarily prescribed for nausea, but I was wondering if it would also help with dizziness?

Certainly! One of the primary uses are for motion sickness - so there is no reason why it would not help - but you need to find the source of the dizziness - here is a helper for your doctor - Take your Blood Pressure + Pulse 3 times back to back - first lying down.....next, setting, and last, standing. Record these results and if you see a big change - or no real change at all, take this information to your doctor...it will save you time and effort in finding the cause of the dizziness......don't just treat the symptoms, cure the cause!
No.
Yes it can help, with vertigo. Some don't respond to it though and mind its sedative side-effect
Nope. Phenergan is an antiemetic, it stops nausea/vomiting. It can also increase the effects of narcotics (i.e Morphine, Demerol) when given together.
If your experiencing alot of dizziness, see your doctor.
