Has a Doctor given you a prescription you never filled?!

Question: Why?

Answers: Why?

I told my doctor that I could not tolerate more than 50 mg. of iron and she gave me a prescription for 60 mg. strength iron. I don't think she listened to me.
Another time I went to the doctor with a low-grade fever, swollen lymph nodes in my neck, headaches, and fatigue. He gave me a prescription for nerve pills. I don't think nerve pills will help a fever.

yes i lost it

yes. was for pain and I didn't need it.

YES BECAUSE NO INSURANCE AND NO MONEY AT THE TIME. TOLD DR. HAD NO FINANCES AND HE DIDN'T HAVE SAMPLES.

Yes, once an eye doctor gave me a prescription for eye drops to help alleviate allergy symptoms in my eyes. I took it to the drug store to get it filled and found out it was $85 for a tiny bottle of drops! My insurance didn't cover it, so I had to go without it, even though it probably would have helped my red itchy watery eyes.

Absolutely! I wait 2 weeks after going to the doctor before filling a prescription-usually the problem goes away by itself. Your body can heal itself if the nerves are not blocked-a chiropractor can help with this.
